Are all these changes necessary?
Why should I trust that these changes are necessary in the first place? And what if I try these new ways of working and they don’t work for me?
At the initial stage of change, skepticism is normal. That’s why communication is essential. Clear facts, legal requirements, scientific data, and trusted sources (especially union representatives) to explain why this transformation - like the green transition - is both real and necessary. The necessity is not used to destroy jobs.
If new ways of working are difficult, please give it time. During the experimenting phase, some trial and error is expected. Mistakes aren’t failures - they’re learning experiences. Your effort will be acknowledged, and union representatives will need to be proactive here so that you’ll receive practical support, including access to experts and safe spaces to discuss concerns without fear of blame.
